  • We are a Maryland-based educational organization established in 2021 that offers a variety of Spanish Immersion Programs for all ages in both public and private settings.

    As experienced educators, we teach language and literacy through animated storytelling, engaging music, visuals, movement, creative repetition, and authentic Spanish resources.

    We pride ourselves on collaborating with our local community, schools, families, educators, and learners.

    Some of our highlights include:

    • Daytime, After School and Summer Spanish Immersion Programs that support both bilingualism and biliteracy in collaboration with Anne Arundel County Public Schools and several Annapolis private schools

    • Serving over 350 students during the 2024-2025 School Year

    • Current recipient of the21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant from MSDE

    • Third time recipient of the Annapolis Children & Family Success Grant

    • Collaborating with schools, local businesses and community organizations to create a more multilingual, multicultural community.

  • Hola Amigos is committed to providing specialized Spanish immersion for preschoolers, focusing on early childhood development as a critical window for learning. We aim to cultivate strong pre-literacy foundations through biliteracy, celebrating the cultural and linguistic backgrounds of all participants. Through a research-based approach, we bridge educational gaps and engage communities to inspire a lifelong love for multilingual learning.


  • Our ultimate goal is to create an environment where every child has the resources and support they need to become bilingual, biliterate, confident, and well-rounded individuals prepared for the future.


Admissions Priorities & Age Groups

We accept applications in both English and Spanish under three priority tiers:

Tier 1: Toddlers (Ages 1 – 2)

  • The Stage: Toddlers understand more than they can say and learn rapidly through imitation.

  • Our Focus: We use interactive play, music, and deep language immersion to maximize early brain development, helping children absorb both languages naturally for an effortless, native accent.

Tier 2: Preschoolers (Ages 3 – 5)

  • The Stage: Children experience a vocabulary explosion, form full sentences, and learn through cooperative play.

  • Our Focus: We build on their "sponge-like" learning with storytelling, conversational practice, and bilingual literacy to ensure a confident, seamless transition to kindergarten.

Tier 3: K–2nd Grade Afterschool Program (Ages 5 – 8)

  • The Stage: School-age kids are developing complex reasoning, expanding academic vocabulary, and forming deeper peer friendships.

  • Our Focus: Our specialized Spanish immersion afterschool program boosts fluency through hands-on STEM projects, creative arts, and real-world conversation, keeping Spanish exciting and relevant outside the regular classroom.
